Expert Advisors (EAs) and Simulated Account Usage

We maintain trade diversity and mitigate risk by strictly prohibiting the usage of Expert Advisors (EAs) on certain demo accounts. Therefore, we have certain rules related to the use of EAs across each of our demo account types. Violation of the EAs rules outlined in this article will result in the failure of these challenges and the closure of all demo accounts.

Please note that indicators are not EAs and therefore you may use any number of them for manual simulated trading.

Standard Challenge: Use of EAs Rules

The following rules regarding the use of EAs are applicable to Standard Challenge accounts:

  • The Standard Challenge comes with the ability to purchase an EAs add-on that permits you to use EAs with the demo account

  • If you do not purchase a Standard Challenge demo account with the EAs add-on, then you are not permitted to use EAs on the demo account(s)

Precaution Regarding the Use of EAs

It's important to note that the use of EAs on Dragons Challenge accounts, Royal Challenge accounts, Knight Challenge accounts, and Standard Challenge accounts that were purchased with the EAs add-on must still follow all other guidelines in accordance with TFT's Terms of Service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copy Trading from Third-Party Signals

  • Demo Account Management Services

  • Arbitrage Trading (Latency or Reverse)

  • Grid Trading

Please advise caution when using third-party or publicly available EAs. The parameters of the EA you are using must be unique to your demo account as our internal systems may flag the account for copy simulated trading, which is a direct violation of our terms and conditions. In such cases, an investigation will be launched, which may result in the breach of the demo account.

Any violations of our Terms of Use or prohibited simulated trading strategies found may result in the breach of the demo account, rejection of simulated profits, and being banned from our services.

(Note: A payout means you are paid based on data which is measured by simulated profit)
